Twenty-two wolves killed, hunt ends Dec. 31

The Department of Natural Resources reports 22 wolves have been killed in the U.P. Wolf Hunt that opened November 15.

In Wolf Management Unit A, five wolves have been killed.  Fourteen have been taken in Unit B, and three wolves have been killed in Unit C.

The DNR says the wolf hunt not will not be extended, and the hunt concludes New Year’s Eve.

The harvest limit is set at 43 wolves.
