Tuesday Weather 3/25/14

This cold winter weather just keeps on keeping on.  Temps were a good 20 to 25 degrees below average today with areas of snow and sun.  Winds were a little breezy from the NW at 10 to 20, while they also ushered in a frigid air mass today and will stay for tonight with lows expected to fall between -5 to -10 degrees.

Light snow will fly early on, but then fade later during the night.  Wednesday brings mostly sunny skies during the morning before more clouds arrive late in the evening with our next disturbance moving in.  Highs reach the lower and middle 20’s with SSW winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow night we will be waiting on snow to enter after midnight.  However before then, clouds blanket the region and low temps drop to the middle and upper teens.  A quick inch or two of snow may fall during the night before more of a wintry mixture enters early Thursday morning.  Temps on Thursday look to push just above freezing so get ready for more of a wintry mix and even some rain.

However, also prepare for another 1 to 2 inches of snow to fall during Thursday the farther north and west you are in the viewing area.
