Trial date set for sex offender

A 59-year-old sex offender was back in court Thursday in Marquette.

Mark Hammond pled not guilty to an indecent exposure charge, and at a scheduling conference in Marquette County Circuit Court, a trial date in April was set.

Hammond was arrested in September after he allegedly exposed himself to a 24–year–old woman.  The victim identified Hammond from a picture that was posted on the state’s sex offender registry.
