Tigers out muscle Indians for 6-4 win
Behind two home runs from Victor Martinez and J.D. Martinez, the Detroit Tigers held on for the 6-4 win over Cleveland on Friday. Rick Porcello got the win on the mound for the Tigers. He pitched six scoreless innings.
Detroit had a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the eighth. Reliever Ian Krol gave up two home runs- one to Asdrubal Cabrera and the other to Carlos Santana- to make it a 5-4 game.
Ian Kinsler came up with an RBI double in the ninth, scoring Rajai Davis. Joe Nathan came on in the ninth to get the save.
