MARQUETTE — A three car accident delayed traffic today in Marquette and totaled one of the cars.

The accident happened on US-41 and Brickyard Road today just before three this afternoon. According to state police on the scene the driver of a gray Pontiac failed to stop in time and collided with the driver in front of them leaving debris and anti-freeze on the road.

Police say after the initial collision the driver of the blue Ford Explorer hit the driver in front of them.

The gray Pontiac was towed from the scene and the other two vehicles were able to drive away. The debris has since been removed and there were no reported injuries.
