Three Arrested in Meth Case
Three people have been arrested in Marquette on meth lab charges.
A traffic stop Thursday morning was how it started.
Marquette County Sheriff’s deputies stopped an SUV along Presque Isle Avenue in Marquette Thursday morning.
The vehicle was suspected to contain illegal drugs.
A search turned up what is believed to be methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana, illegal prescription drugs, and a loaded .22 caliber rifle.
They arrested all three occupants, a 54–year–old and a 20 year old man from Big Bay and a 42–year–old Marquette woman.
Their names have not been released.
A search warrant was issued for police to search a home in Big Bay.
Police say evidence of methamphetamine production and use was found at the home.
The incident remains under investigation.
