Three arrested in Escanaba armed robbery
Update: Three people are in jail following an armed robbery in Delta County on Sunday morning. Escanaba public safety responded to the Admiral Gas Station in Escanaba just before 8 a.m. after receiving a call about an armed robbery.
According to police, a masked man entered the gas station brandishing a large hunting knife and demanding money.
The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and the subject fled the scene on foot. Public Safety used a K-9 unit to track the suspect to a home on the north side of Escanaba.
A search warrant for the house was executed and the three individuals inside the house were arrested on charges of Armed Robbery and Lying to Police during the investigation of a Serious Felony.
The three are lodged in the Delta County Jail pending arraignment.
