Thanksgiving Volunteers Needed
Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, and great food. Little Brothers Friends of The Elderly want to make sure that Copper Country Seniors aren’t forgotten this holiday.
On Thanksgiving Day, Little Brothers will be hosting holiday dinners with all the trimmings in nine locations throughout the Copper Country.
Dinners are being served up hot with a smile in Houghton, Hancock, Calumet, South Range, Tapiola, Ontonagon, Baraga, and Copper City…beginning at 1PM.
All elderly friends who would otherwise be alone for the holiday are invited to attend. Just give ‘em a call at 482-6944 and they’ll set a place at the table for you!
Little Brothers also wants to make sure seniors who can’t make it the holiday parties still get a hot meal and a warm friendly visit this Thanksgiving.
Volunteers are still needed to help with transportation, cooking, and set-up and clean-up as well as those who can deliver a meal with a friendly visit to the home bound.
