Teen in Custody After Ironwood Fire
Arson is the charge against an Ironwood teenager after a fire destroyed a home Tuesday night.
Ironwood Public Safety says the house fire at 700 North Lake Street was quickly identified as suspicious.
A 17-year-old male was taken into custody before 11 pm Central time last night.
He’s charged with arson of a dwelling, which is a 20-year felony.
He’s also charged with felonious breaking and entering a building, as well as malicious destruction of property.
The teen is in the Gogebic County Jail tonight under 10% of a $200,000 bond.
