PUEBLO, Colo. – Michigan Tech junior Dylan Anderson had to battle stiff
winds and even stiffer competition to finish ninth in the 800-meter run at
the NCAA Div. II Outdoor Track and Field Championships Saturday (May 26). He finished in a time of 1:57.20.

“It’s a little bit bitter sweet making the final and then not performing
like he wanted to,” said head coach Joe Haggenmiller. “He ended up in a
tactical race and making a little mistake here, a little mistake there.

It’s his first time here, and hopefully he can learn from this experience
as he prepares for next year.”
