Teacher finds meth dump site on class walk

A teacher from North Star Academy stumbled upon a meth dump site during a walk with her 7th and 8th grade students.

The class was going for a hike on a trail in Marquette Township west of the Target store when they came upon a smoldering pile of debris. The burning mass turned out to be methamphetamine lab components. The components were cleaned up by U.P.S.E.T. Certified Meth Responders and placed in approved containers for disposal. No suspects have been identified at this time.
