Swimmer Shooting Victims Memorial
The memorial for the victims of the East Kingsford train bridge shootings i on tap for this weekend.
It’ll be this Sunday, the 12th, at 2pm Central time.
It’s on Skidmore Drive in Kingsford, about a half-mile from the Michigan-side entrance to the bridge.
The memorial is a donated 4-foot-by-3-foot stone engraved with the victims’ names.
A gunman opened fire from the train bridge over the Menominee River on July 31st.
17-year-old Tiffany Pohlson of Vulcan, as well as 18-year-old Anthony Spigarelli and 19-year-old Bryan Mort, both from Iron Mountain, all died.
20-year-old Daniel Gordon of Kingsford was wounded.
