Suspicious Device Update
The investigation continues into a suspicious device found in Ontonagon County Thursday.
A worker from Superior Service of Houghton found the device Thursday morning while pumping a portable toilet. The unit was at Green Park in Carp Lake Township near Silver City. The possible explosive device was found at about 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
Officials say it appeared to be a bomb. It has been sent to the Michigan State Police Crime Lab for a closer examination. Michigan State Police from the Wakefield post, along with a bomb squad from Marquette, are investigating.
