SAULT STE. MARIE — The names of the men arrested on cocaine and marijuana charges in Sault Ste. Marie last week have been made available.

The Chippewa County Prosecutor’s Office says 45-year-old Scott Watson and 49-year-old Viktor Bojaj were arraigned Thursday in Chippewa County District Court on charges of possession with intent to deliver less than 50 grams of cocaine and possession of marijuana. Watson and Bojaj were arrested Wednesday after Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team detectives executed search warrants at a hotel room in the Sault and seized over fifteen grams of cocaine, as well as marijuana and $500 in alleged drug proceeds.

UPSET detectives say Bojaj was also identified as an illegal immigrant from Albania who was wanted on a federal deportation order. Both men have probable cause conferences scheduled for October 29th.
