Suspected Gladstone Assault
Charges may be forthcoming from a suspected assault in Gladstone that sent a man to the hospital.
Gladstone Public Safety says it happened shortly after 2 pm Wednesday on the 100 block of Cliffs Drive.
When they arrived, a man was bleeding heavily from the head and face area.
Police say he and another man got into an argument.
It turned physical, and officers say the victim was hit on the head with a blunt object.
The victim was taken to OSF Saint Francis Hospital in Escanaba for treatment.
Police have turned the case over to the Delta County Prosecutor for review.
No names will be available until after formal charges are filed.
