Suite Life at MTU With MacInnes Renovations
If you’re a hockey fan in the western U.P. and you make your way to a Michigan Tech home game this coming year, you’ll probably notice the arena looks a bit different.
Michigan Tech is adding suites to the inside of MacInnes Ice Arena.
It’s a first for the more than 35-year-old facility.
They may not look like much right now — the dust hasn’t settled yet.
But they’ll be ready to go for the Huskies’ home opener, which is less than 2 weeks away.
Even with the rough economy, the school hasn’t had any trouble finding takers for the suites.
All 10 of them have already been sold for this coming season.
And they’re booked solid for the 2 seasons after that as well.
