The U.P.’s voice in Congress is trying something new this week so that you can talk with him about anything coming up in Washington.

Congressman Bart Stupak is hosting a town hall meeting over the telephone Thursday night.

It’ll be at 6:30 Eastern time that night.

He’s occasionally had similar telephone conferences for members of the media.

But this one isn’t open to just the media.

Anyone in the U.P. or nothern Lower Peninsula who wants to ask him something can.

The town hall meeting by phone will last an hour, and Stupak says he’ll answer as many questions during that time span as he can.
