Stabenow On Her Way to Marquette

After last night, 2 of the 3 presidential debates are now in the books.

Many of us in the U.P. are wondering what either John McCain or Barack Obama might do to address issues important to our area.

One of them is enlisting a friend and colleague to try to answer that question.

Michigan’s junior U.S. Senator, Debbie Stabenow, is visiting the NMU campus Thursday night.

The goal is to talk in an informal setting about what Senator Obama would do to address subjects that matter to us in the U.P.

That’s going to be in the West Science Building at 5:30 tomorrow night.

It’s free of charge and open to all.

The event may not be answered by a similar one to get the word out on Senator McCain’s positions.

Last week, his campaign pulled all their staff, and all their advertising, from the state.
