Snowmobile Watercross World Record Try

The world record for a snowmobile watercross could fall this weekend in Houghton County.
26–year–old Erick Baccus of Lake Linden will make the attempt on Rice Lake on Saturday.
A Hubbell volunteer firefighter, Erick is making the run to raise money for much-needed equipment for the department.
Though he has ridden a snowmobile on water before, he’ll need to stay afloat on his 2003 Arctic Cat F7 for 115 miles to claim the record.
