GREENLAND TWP. — A Wisconsin man was taken to the hospital after the snowmobile he was riding on struck a vehicle.
At approximately 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, a Skidoo snowmobile driven by Mark Wasse of Green Bay was traveling on Aspen Lane in Greenland Township. Wasse failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Aspen Lane and Trail No. 3.
A vehicle, being driven by Queen Westerinen of Ontonagon, was unable to stop and hit Wasse’s snowmobile. Wasse was transported to Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital with an apparent leg injury.
No other injuries were reported.
