Sippola and Coss Staying in Prison
The Marquette couple in prison for trying to blackmail actor John Stamos will remain behind bars while their convictions are being appealed.
Allison Coss and Scott Sippola had been asking to be released until their appeals are decided.
But the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has rejected their request.
They were each sentenced to 4 years in prison.
Coss and Sippola were convicted last July of trying to obtain $680,000 from Stamos in exchange for supposedly damaging photos of him that the two said they had.
The FBI said the photos didn’t exist.
