Shopko stores to donate money to school districts
The Help Us Give Back program ended on Christmas Eve, and Upper Peninsula Shopko stores have counted signatures collected.
For each signature collected, the Shopko Hometown Foundation will donate one dollar to the school district where the store is located.
Stores in the U.P. all collected at least over 1,000; the number of signatures is capped at 2,000.

- Ishpeming: 1,189
- Calumet: approx. 1,200
- Manistique: approx. 1,900
- L’Anse: 2,000
- Wetmore: 2,030
Store employees are excited to deliver the donations to their local school districts.
