The Make–A–Wish Foundation and Disney have partnered together to raise money for children with life threatening illnesses.
Disney and Make–A–Wish are asking people to simply share photos of themselves on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram wearing Mickey Mouse Ears.
When you share those photos, you must use the HASH TAG ‘Share Your Ears.’ Disney will donate five dollars to Make–A–Wish with very photo that’s submitted with that hash tag.
“We are so excited for our great partnership with Disney,” said Sherri Collins, VP of Marketing and Branding Advancement for Make–A–Wish Michigan. “The great thing is that the ears don’t even have to be traditional ears. They can be really creative. You can use other items to make your ears. You can use balloons or any circular items you can be creative to come up with. Over the last several years in the U.P., we’ve granted nearly 60 wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions. These wishes are happening right here in your communities.”
Disney will donate up to one million dollars to grant wishes to kids in Michigan and around the world.
The campaign runs through March 14th.
