Shakespeare Combined with Improv Theater

The Westwood High School drama department did some cooking on stage today and treated its audience to an omelet.

“Omelet” is a one-of-a-kind play combining William Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” with students’ improvisational skills.

Westwood drama director B.G. Bradley says the students have put on both Shakespeare and improv shows throughout the year, including “Hamlet”, but this stage act is something unique.

The students will stage another performance of “Omelet” next Wednesday at 7 pm in Westwood’s auditorium.
