Seney National Wildlife Refuge film festival

The Seney National Wildlife Refuge has a nature–themed cure for cabin fever coming in February. A winter film festival will take place there every Tuesday night during the month.

The first film to be shown will be about conservationist Aldo Leopold. The second night will present a film on where white–tailed deer go at night, with scientists outfitting deer with GPS and Night Vision cameras, and a film about ducks.

Night three includes films on plant behavior and on the Colorado River. A film about the bottled water industry wraps up the festival at the end of the month.

The film screenings begin at 6:30 each night. They’re free of charge, and staff members will be serving cookies and hot beverages to help guests warm up.
