Second Guilty Plea from Drive-By Shooting

An Ishpeming teenager has entered a guilty plea in connection with a drive–by shooting in Marquette.

19–year–old Phillip Swanson pleaded guilty this morning to discharging a firearm in or at a building.

The charge stems from a shooting at a house on Center Street in Marquette on January 22nd.

No one was hurt.

Swanson will be sentenced on May 4th.

He could receive a prison term of up to four years, a possible $2,000 fine or both.

17–year–old Dylan Olli of Marquette was driving the pickup truck that Swanson fired the shots from.

He was sentenced this morning for discharging a weapon in or at a building.

But Circuit Court officials say no public record of his sentence is available.

Olli’s twin brother, Casey Olli, was also in the truck.

He’s received a year of probation for misdemeanor marijuana possession.

If he completes the probation without incident, the charge will no longer be a public record.
