Schoolcraft County Jail Inmate Follow-Up
There’s new information today about the inmate at the Schoolcraft County Jail who was recently found dead.
The Sheriff’s Department says it was 43–year–old Shawn Jenerou of Manistique.
He was found dead in his cell on Saturday morning, the 17th.
Police say at this point, it appears he died of natural causes.
The Sheriff’s Department and Manistique Public Safety both conducted independent investigations into Jenerou’s death.
