Sale offers items for the perfect Halloween costume
MARQUETTE — If anyone is looking for a Halloween costume at a good price, the Forest Roberts Theatre at NMU might have what you’re looking for.
The theatre’s costume department is offering old clothes for sale just in time for buyers to find the perfect items to complete their costumes. There is everything from jackets and dresses to scarves and hats for sale.
“We have some things from Les Miserables from this year, we have some things from She Kills Monsters, we have wings,” Forest Roberts Theatre costume seamstress Natalie Berger said. “We have all kinds of crazy things people can use in their costumes for Halloween. We just have all sorts random things that we don’t need anymore, but someone else might.”
The average price for an item is $2, and all proceeds from the sale go to the theater department.
“We put (the costume sale) on so that we can buy new costumes, things to build new costumes for the next shows over the next couple of years.”
The costume sale continues Wednesday from 1-6 p.m. in the Forest Roberts Theatre lobby.
