Young students in Houghton County are already building their future.

The Lego Robotics Day Camp is underway at the Jutila Center in Hancock. It’s the third year of the camp but the first time it has been held in the Copper Country. Children ages 7 to 12 are learning how to build a fully functioning robot out of building blocks.

To a boy who turns nine years old next week…this is more than just playing with blocks. The camp is made possible by Michigan Works!, The Job Force Board, Finlandia University and the M–Tech Smartzone.
