HOUGHTON — One man has been charged in connection with a two-vehicle crash in Calumet in May.

27-year-old Ayoub Al-Hamdan is accused of driving at speeds in excess of 80 miles per hour before colliding with a pickup truck and rolling over on US-41. Al-Hamdan is charged with reckless driving which is a misdemeanor punishable by 93-days in jail.

He pled not guilty to the charge. He is currently out on bond which was set at ten percent of $3000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 6th.
