Rangers avoid sweep, end Tigers winning streak at 3
The Texas Rangers avoided a sweep by the hands of the Detroit Tigers due in large part to pitcher Alexi Ogando.
Ogando went 6 1/3 innings, giving up 2 runs and striking out 7.
Ian Kinsler went 1-4 on the day, driving in 2 Ranger runs with a single in the top of the 4th inning.
