CRANDON, Wisc. — An Iron River man who was allegedly involved in a high-speed chase across state lines is set to appear in court.
Twenty-two-year old Martin Cooper III will make his initial appearance in Circuit Court in Forest County, Wisconsin, on Monday. According to the criminal complaint filed against him, Cooper is charged with attempting to flee or elude a traffic officer, obstructing an officer, possession of THC second offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Cooper was taken into custody after a police pursuit on December 17th that started in Crystal Falls Township and was ended by Wisconsin law enforcement after his vehicle crossed the border. He is also awaiting arraignment on charges in Michigan.
