Prosecutor files motion in murder case

MENOMINEE — A Menominee man charged with open murder is expected to go to trial later this year.

Forty–eight year old Gregory Ihander is accused of murdering 43–year–old Jolene Eichhorn last September. A motion was filed by the prosecutor today to have prior suspicious acts by Ihander allowed during his trial.

Ihander has a week to respond to the motion. The judge is expected to make a decision about the motion in a week.

Ihander’s trial was scheduled to start this week, but that has been pushed back. His next court date has been set for July 1st.
