Probation for Wisconsin teen who took police on a car chase

A Wisconsin teenager avoided jail time after taking police on a chase through Iron Mountain in January.

Tyler Dollar, 15, was sentenced to one year probation after pleading guilty to receiving/concealing stolen property and fleeing/eluding police.

He was arrested after stealing a vehicle in Niagara, Wisconsin, and drove through Iron Mountain.  He hit a Michigan State Police vehicle on U.S. 2, drove off the roadway, and overturned.

Dickinson County Probate Court officials said Dollar is currently in a residential treatment facility in Wisconsin, and is not allowed to come into Michigan unattended.
