Prison time given in robbery and meth case

MARQUETTE — A man involved in the robbery of a Marquette residence earlier this year is headed to prison.

Bobbie Weymouth, 21, received a sentence of forty months to twenty years in prison. Weymouth pleaded guilty to one count of unarmed robbery and one count of manufacture or possession of components to make meth late last month.

He was arrested in March after a high speed chase with police through Marquette. Weymouth was originally facing armed robbery and meth lab charges. He is one of four men arrested in connection to the robbery of a residence on North Fourth Street.
