Prescription Drug Fraud Charges
A Gogebic County woman is waiting for her next court date on prescription-drug-fraud–related charges.
32–year–old Cindi Christensen of Ramsay is charged with manufacture and delivery of fraudulent prescription forms.
She’s also suspected of trying to fill bogus prescriptions in Gogebic County, as well as Iron and Ashland Counties in Wisconsin.
Christensen was arrested in mid–December after an investigation by the Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team.
She’s being held in the Gogebic County Jail on $10,000 bond.
her next appearance in circuit court has not been scheduled yet.
On each count, Christensen faces up to seven years in prison, a $5,000 fine or both.
