ST. IGNACE — Forty-six marijuana plants were seized by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team in St. Ignace yesterday.

Detectives from UPSET East executed a search warrant at 198 High Street. In addition to the plants they recovered 1 1/2 lbs of processed marijuana, some hemp oil and marijuana butter.

The home’s occupants are medical marijuana card holders but had not been compliant with the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act.

There have not been any arrests and the investigation continues while it is reviewed by the Mackinac County Prosecutor.
