Possible Attempted Abduction
Negaunee Police want to find a man who tried to contact an 11–year–old girl this morning while she was walking to school.
Officers say it happened shortly after 7 this morning.
They say the man motioned for the girl to walk over to his car.
She ran home and told her parents, who called police.
The driver’s whereabouts are unknown.
But he’s described as a man in his 50’s with pale, wrinkled skin.
He may be driving a dark gray or black station wagon.
Investigators also say he’s possibly wearing a dark flannel shirt and a gray baseball cap.
