Position changes for Wildcats ‘D’

The spring football season is over for the Northern Michigan University Wildcats, but there’s plenty for them to look forward to this fall. The ‘Cats defense lost the spring game to the offense, but the way points were scored favored the offense more than it did the defense.

Keeping points off the scoreboard is what the Wildcats ‘D’ is aiming to do this fall. NMU had several players on the defensive side of the ball switch positions during the off–season, which the Wildcats hope pays off later this year when the real games are played.

NMU begins training camp for the 2014 regular season in August.
