Position Available in Cong. Benishek’s Office for Vetrasn

Congressman Dan Benishek says his office is seeking applications from military veterans to work in one of his District offices.

Benishek’s office is participating in the Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program, which provides veterans employment within the House of Representatives. The position will be for a caseworker to work in his Marquette District Office. The job will involve facilitating and coordinating responses to a wide range of requests received from constituents. District caseworkers also help constituents interact with administrative and government agencies.

To apply to the program, eligible applicants must:

§ Have served on active duty since September 11, 2001

§ Have a 30% or greater service-connected disability rating and less than 20 years of service

§ Submit a copy of their DD214 and a VA letter confirming that they have at least a 30% service-connected disability rating

§ Include a current resumé in their application.

Applicants should submit their resume, a DD214 and a letter from the VA indicating that they have a 30% or greater rating to housewoundedwarriors@mail.house.gov.
