Police warn of increase in auto larceny

MARQUETTE — The Marquette Police Department says it’s currently investigating several car larcenies in North Marquette.

The larcenies are potentially still-ongoing and have occured between July 8th and July 18th.

The department wishes to remind vehicle owners to protect their property by locking vehicles, parking vehicles in driveways under a motion light, or in a locked garage.

“Property of value should be removed from the vehicle,” the department suggested.

Anyone with information on the larcenies should contact the Marquette City Police Department at (906) 228-0400.
