Search for missing woman continues

An active search is continuing for a missing Escanaba woman.

Escanaba Public Safety is looking for 56-year-old Jean Marie Lawrence.

She was last seen at about 8 pm last Wednesday, when she walked away from her adult foster home on the 500 block of South 22nd Street.

She has blue eyes and shoulder-length auburn hair with graying at the roots.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black denim jeans with holes and white shoes.

Jean may appear frail and disoriented, and police say she has a history of mental illness.
