Police identify high speed chase suspect
IRON MOUNTAIN — The armed man who allegedly led police on high–speed pursuit in Iron Mountain yesterday has been arrested and arraigned in court on multiple felony charges.
Thirty–two year old Robert Montey of Kingsford is charged with four felony counts including weapons, firearms possession by a felon, assault with a dangerous weapon and fleeing from police.
He is currently lodged in the Dickinson County Correctional Center on a $25,000 cash/surety bond. Police say Montey led them on a high–speed chase from Iron Mountain to Niagara early Tuesday morning.
Montey will be back in court for a preliminary hearing on July 13th.
