ISHPEMING — The fight against meth here in the Upper Peninsula continues.

Just after 10:00 a.m., the Ishpeming Police Department was called to a residence on Ridge Street. The homeowner told police she believed she found meth-making components at her property.

Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team were contacted to help with the investigation. With consent from the homeowner, police located several components related to the manufacture of meth.

At this time, no arrests have been made, but police did tell ABC 10 that they have a suspect they’re looking at. The homeowner is not a suspect in this case.

The Ishpeming City Fire Department assisted police at the scene.
