ISHPEMING — A Negaunee Township man is facing drug charges after police pulled him over and found components used to make meth in his car.
The Ishpeming Police Department made a traffic stop on US-41 near Lakeshore Drive Sunday at approximately 1:30 p.m. for an expired plate. Police found several meth making components in the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, 33-year-old Eric Scott Miller of Negaunee Township, was arrested on several meth related charges. He faces up to 25 years in prison and $30,000 in fines. Miller was also charged with driving on a suspended license and not having insurance.
Miller was arraigned today in Marquette County District Court on each of the two meth charges. He’s due back in court for a preliminary exam on February 16th.
