Police find body of missing fisherman
IRON COUNTY — Police have recovered the body of a Dickinson County man who was believed to have been missing since last week.
Emergency personnel responded to a report of an overturned boat in Chicagon Lake in George Youngs Bay Sunday night. Police later found the body of 57-year-old Robert Polich of Iron Mountain floating near the shore.
Polich was last seen Thursday evening when he told a relative he was going fishing. Police believe he fell overboard Thursday evening.
Polich was wearing a Personal Flotation Device when police found his body. Foul play is not suspected in his death and police are still investigating the incident.
