Pine Mountain ski jump stabbing suspect pleads guilty

A Norway man accused of stabbing a member of the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department last year will not go to trial.

Andrew Bray, 75, had a trial scheduled for this week in Circuit Court. Instead, he has opted to plead guilty to assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and carrying a concealed weapon. Bray will be sentenced June 16th.

He stabbed Lt. Derek Dixon of the Sheriff’s Department at the Continental Cup Ski Jumping Tournament at Pine Mountain in February 2013.
