The injuries at training camp are starting to add up for the Green Bay Packers. The team announced on Tuesday that wide receiver Jordy Nelson will miss the next 4-6 weeks, after undergoing knee surgery on Monday.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said today that he expects Nelson to be back in time for week one of the regular season. Green Bay opens up the regular season on Sept. 8 at San Francisco.
Nelson caught 49 passes for 745 yards and 7 touchdowns last season for the Packers.
