NEGAUNEE — One of the eight local theaters in Marquette County is trying to modernize their theater and bring more variety in entertainment. PAAC and the Vista Theater have been around for about 40 years, and you may know them from their different gala’s, theatrical productions art shows and more. Andrew “Bear” Tyler and Lucas Wickstrom recently acquired the titles of Co-Executive Directors of PAAC.

PAAC Co-Executive Director Andrew “Bear” Tyler says, “Overall just being in charge of what is, really, a historic icon, and hoping to lead it into becoming the beacon of arts and entertainment that can be, and once was, once again.”

PAAC’s other Co-Executive Director Lucas Wickstrom says he has worked with performing arts centers and non-profits before and hopes to bring those talents to the table to help promote PAAC’s events.

“Just so many things that are happening,” Wickstrom added, “that nobody really ever knows about until it’s too late, so I’m excited to help us reach out and let people know what’s going on.”

PAAC is hosting performing arts summer camps for kids this week, different shows the next couple months and even airing classic movies.
