Overturned truck on highway reroutes traffic

[KEWEENAW REPORT] BARAGA — An overturned truck on a highway in the U.P. is rerouting traffic as crews attempt to clean up glass.

M-26 northbound is closed at the M-38 intersection. A truck overturned and spilled glass on the highway. Traffic bound for Houghton is being diverted easterly on M-38 to Baraga, and thence northerly on US-41.

An MSP trooper says the cleanup will take “quite some time.” Southbound traffic on M-26 is being allowed through.
